Farnborough Visitors Guide

The Farnborough International Airshow is one of the largest aviation events. The first five days of the show are trade days followed by a weekend that is opened up to the public. In 2008, it displayed 165 aircrafts and attracted 153,000 visitors!

Farnborough Airshow asked us to design a new map for their airshow, held every two years. A new style was required, away from the rather dry version they had before which would accentuate the fun, family aspect of the show. It needed to become more interactive, encouraging people to visit their various shows and food halls and highlight the numerous attractions on the very large site.

We used a very different illustrative style that was aimed at children as well as adults. It provided large amounts of information in a clear and comprehensible way ensuring ease of use and a thorough knowledge of what was happening and where!
